Dickon Hall hosts a solo exhibition of 7 new works by accomplished painter Gareth Reid in the Crescent Arts Centre.  Perfectly groomed gardens and parks shimmer in bedazzling light. The largest work, ‘Landscape’ celebrates the evening rays piercing through the trees with shooting rods of light.  These unpopulated timeless scenes invite the viewer to construct their…

Human Gallery Volunteers Needed

I need some brave volunteers....as part of my upcoming exhibition 'Greyland' and in the spirit of the Time To Change Campaign of getting people to talk about mental health and fight the stigma I am trying to organise a new version of the human library. Instead of books people will become Human art works/paintings. For the Human Gallery I need some human painting volunteers...the idea is to have all types of people. The paintings need to be up for talking about themselves openly and honestly.… Continue

We have passed the 400 member mark.

Hello members we have passed the 400 member mark, it seems like only yesterday that I was looking to break through the 100 member barrier. I believe there is a nice piece in visual arts Ireland this month about the site but I have not seen it yet.I just have to say people only keep coming back because you keep adding events and information to the site. It's aways a pleasure to see the…

I was getting frustrated with showing single…
