- Rosie McGurran was born in Belfast and now lives in Connemara in the west of Ireland. She curates the Inishlacken Project, an island based visual arts residential and exhibition programme. Her work runs in threads and patterns of practice. Narrative figurative drawings and paintings often exist beside landscape work and large scale mural installation pieces. Rosie McGurran's work has also been extensively informed by working in artist's residencies in Australia, Iceland, Italy, and New York City.
