Artist statement/gallery statements/or comments: Paul Moore (b. N.Ireland, 1977) is a visual artist based in Belfast. He graduated from the University of Wales, Newport in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Multimedia where he later accepted an offer to study for a Masters of Fine Art in 2005.Paul stayed on in Wales to work as a freelance Photographer before returning home and settling down to pursue a more open and personal fine art practice. Paul encapsulates a wide range of media from Printmaking, Photography to Interactive Media and Video Installation. His work has been published nationally and internationally and exhibited across Britain/Ireland, he was a Selected Artist at the Royal Ulster Academy in 2009 and recently a selected work for Art in the Eastside, the largest outdoor curated visual art project in N. Ireland as part of the first East Belfast Arts Festival in 2012. He has currently finished the position of Artist in Residence at the Digital Art Studios in Belfast during 2012.
