Unexpected Edges is an exhibition of art and design that is not about materials or physical materials.  It will explore artistic intentionality across genres of wood, ceramic, art brut, textiles and paper.  We are looking for what Eastern aesthetics reveres as ineffable mystery....the presence of a quality that makes something more than the space it occupies.   There is no Western word really for this.   The Japanese call it Yugen, or Mysterious Grace.See More
