The MAC is now open what do you think.?

I don't think much of it. It seems to be a cafe come administration block with a little bit of art. There are many doors out of reach to the public. I haven't had any thing to eat in it so i can not comment on that, the 2 exhibitions i have seen were good but not a lot of it and i am fed up looking at the over size table and chairs.

I am glad i got that off my chest.

The art galleries close at 7.30pm even on Late Night Art night!!!  Why??

Good question although I have been in there later at openings. But you would think they would open for late night art.

I enjoyed it on first visit - seeing an artist of the calibre of Lowry on our wee isle is unquestionably a good thing - the table and chairs was intersting on first view, but as James mentioned it lost its apeal very quickly and that big space needs to filled with soemthing new. as for the opening hours, maybe if we all go in and mention it they wil catch on to late night art.
