Event Description
Inishlacken island lies off the coast of the village of Roundstone in Connemara. It was once the home of the Belfast artist Gerard Dillon and is now uninhabited. In May 2012 Rosie McGurran will hold a two day painting workshop on the island with artist Mick O'Dea R.H.A. Limited places allow for a concentrated period of tuition. The workshop price includes transport by boat to the island, tuition and evaluation of work and lunch. Details of accommodation in Roundstone are available at www.roundstone.ie This is a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Connemara in an unspoilt and special place. Workshop prices are 250 euro inclusive per person.
