A new exhibition of painting by Clinton Kirkpatrick relating to a research trip to Kenya in May and June 2011.
Clinton's painting takes of two distinctly different styles. His abstract painting is a combination of form, space and use of colour where they are seemingly quite intuitive. Clinton's figurative works take on an exiting playful role where reality meets imagination! Thoughts mixed with feelings, mixed with the actual. These are a much more definite insight into how Clinton thinks.
Clinton is at a new point in his career where both understanding of paint and subject matter are starting to appear much more coherent!
