This collaboration between the artists Sarah Gordon and Sarah Crooks, explores systems of transferal between a series of objects. An initial concern with the function of fiction led to an investigation into systems of representation, particularly within Mathematics. Fictional constructs of numbers and objects articulate and understand a body of independently existing entities. This series of constructions describes the point at which 'one' becomes 'another'. Processes of repetition, duplication, filtration and reflection draw attention to the liminal space the objects occupy. Though ephemeral they are tethered by an exaggerated materiality.
